We are psychologists, facilitators, business experts and strategists, with decades of corporate, business and people experience.
Our role is to help your organisation make better governance decisions, by delivering actionable insights for boards, their executive and non-executive directors.
Upboard Global was founded in 2021 by Kate Woodley
Kate is an Australian Registered Psychologist, executive coach and business leader, based in Melbourne, Australia. Her experience includes strategy, leadership, and service delivery. She has led businesses both in Australia and APAC, and has also worked internationally (Europe, Middle East and Asia) as part of a coaching team engaged by INSEAD France.
Kate’s keen interest in the dynamics of boards, their directors and management teams was developed during her years working in Singapore and Hong Kong, providing psychometric services to boards and individual executives. This work led Kate to specialise in

Kate developed Upboard Global specifically to deliver solutions clearly focussed on understanding opportunity and risk appetite dynamics, in addition to highlighting preferences for social and relationship effectiveness. The Upboard Global offering supports individuals and groups of two or more, as well as drilling down into larger group and board dynamics.
In addition to being a Registered Psychologist, Kate has an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology from the University of East London. Having had a coaching practice since 2015, she focuses on coaching individuals at board and C-suite levels to leverage strengths, develop insight and optimise relationships.
